The Delco Voyager marine electronic ignition system is the most common and most reliable ignition system in use today. The best part of this system is not only the reliability, but how simple it is to set up. The timing is electronic (not weights, like older systems) and the computer module is in the distributor itself. Every marine engine manufacturer from MerCruiser, OMC, Volvo Penta, Indmar, Marine Power, Crusader, PCM, etc., still use it today on most of their current production engines. On some engines, such as the 3.0L, it has been the ONLY choice for the past 18 years.

This distributor system can be used on the most advanced marine multi-port fuel injected engines, yet can easily be installed and used on 1970's or 1980's engines with existing "points and condenser" ignition. No computer or new wire harness is needed or required. Complete installation instructions are included with each ignition package.
