5.7L INBOARD Flywheel (1986 & Later Engines)

New 5.7L INBOARD flywheel made for 1986 and later 5.7L marine engines.

If you have an existing 5.7L INBOARD marine engine made before 1986 (commonly referred to as a two-piece rear main seal or split seal) and are replacing it with a 1986 and LATER 5.7L engine (commonly called a one-piece rear main seal or full seal), then this 5.7L INBOARD flywheel is required.

This 5.7L INBOARD flywheel can easily be identified by the ring gear on the OUTSIDE edge of the flywheel - with sterndrive and I/O engine applications, the flywheel ring gear is on the INSIDE (see pictures). This INBOARD flywheel can also be easily identified by the starter which mounts at the TOP of the bell housing as opposed to the bottom of the bell housing.

Brand new 5.7L base marine engines do not ship with this 14" INBOARD flywheel.

This flywheel is unique to a 5.7L inboard engine. It will only fit and install on a 5.7L inboard engines made from 1986 to present.

We ship parts and engines worldwide! Parts orders placed before 12:00pm EST will normally be shipped same day (if the item is in stock). If you need your parts ASAP, UPS next day air, second day air, etc., are also available (Deadline is 3pm Eastern Time). Engine orders will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours after payment-in-full is received. For special engine orders, shipping time is based on current stock and build time.

Items under 75 pounds are sent via UPS in continental USA. Items sent overseas are sent via USPS or UPS Worldwide Expedited, or air freight (depending on item weight). UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Engine Shipping

We use different freight carriers to find you the lowest price AND safest delivery. Some of the freight carriers we use are: Con-Way Freight, Estes Express, Pilot Air, USF Holland, Forward Air, Roadway Express, Old Dominion, Overnight express, Watkins, and Dayton Freight. Engines can be picked up at a local shipping terminal or dropped off at your location* (*certain restrictions apply). Engines are packed in specially designed crates made for that engine.

All oil & lubricating fluids are drained before they are sent out (this is required by our freight carriers). All engines & parts are packed by our shipping department. Engines are then inspected by our shipping manager before they are loaded onto a freight carrier.

For items received as described, a refund of the final invoice price (minus shipping and handling charges and a 15% restocking fee) will be issued. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for sufficiently packing and insuring returned items unless otherwise agreed upon. Refunds will not be issued for damaged merchandise. All returns must be made within 15 days of delivery to you. No refunds for electronic parts if box is opened. All returns must have a RMA # and invoice #. 15% restocking fee on any complete engine. If parts arrive damaged in shipment, it is the customers responsibility to notify the carrier immediately and reject the damaged package. Contact Michigan Motorz of the potential damage. A claim will be filed and we will send out the identical part. If parts are damaged in shipment and the customer does not notice damage, please call Michigan Motorz LLC.
