DART's Marine Pro 1 Big Block Chevy cylinder heads feature a new, highly efficient chamber with improved fuel distribution, spark plugs located as high and close to the center of the chamber as possible and five angle intake seats to shear the liquid fuel and air as it enters the chamber are the product of wet flow research.
Dart Marine Pro 1 cylinder heads feature an exclusive chromate finish to inhibit corrosion and extend the life of the head, and are fitted with inconel exhaust valves to withstand the extended running time and temperatures typical of marine usage.

Features: Special hard chromate surface treatment for corrosion and erosion resistance. This treatment is also available on aluminum Dart blocks! Premium alloy: Dart aluminum heads are cast from virgin 355-T61 aerospace alloy for superior strength and integrity. Assemblies include super tough inconel exhaust valves for long life. Bolt on compatibility: 2 degree rolled valve angle and standard spacing. Accommodates all stock accessories. Heart shaped 121cc chambers improve combustion efficiency. Raised spark plug location improves flame travel for a quicker, more complete burn, producing more power. Multi-angle intake seats and radiused exhaust seats dramatically increase airflow. Hardened exhaust seats are compatible with unleaded gasoline. Exhaust ports raised .300" to improve flow (requires 1" longer head bolts next to exhaust ports). Spark plug holes are machined for gasketed 3/4" reach plugs. Manganese bronze valve guides extend cylinder head life and reduce stem wear.

We ship parts and engines worldwide! Parts orders placed before 3:30pm EST will normally be shipped same day (if the item is in stock). If you need your parts asap, UPS next day air, second day air, etc., are also available (Deadline is 3:30pm Eastern Time). Engine orders will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours after payment-in-full is received. For special engine orders, shipping time is based on current stock and build time.
Items under 75 pounds are sent via UPS in continental USA. Items sent overseas are sent via USPS or UPS Worldwide Expedited, or air freight (depending on item weight). UPS cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

We use different freight carriers to find you the lowest price AND safest delivery. Some of the freight carriers we use are: R&L Freight, Con-Way Freight, Estes Express, Pilot Air, USF Holland, Forward Air, Old Dominion, Overnight Express, Watkins, and Dayton Freight. Engines can be picked up at a local shipping terminal or dropped off at your location*. Engines are packed in specially designed crates made for that engine**.
All oil & lubricating fluids are drained before they are sent out (this is required by our freight carriers). All engines & parts are packed by our shipping department. Engines are then inspected by our shipping manager before they are loaded onto a freight carrier.

**All Marine Power complete engines are subject to a $150.00 non-refundable crate fee; and all MerCruiser complete engines are subject to a $300.00 refundable crate fee.
For items received as described, a refund of the final invoice price (minus shipping and handling charges and a 15% restocking fee) will be issued. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for sufficiently packing and insuring returned items unless otherwise agreed upon. Refunds will not be issued for damaged merchandise. All returns must be made within 15 days of delivery to you. No refunds for electronic parts if box is opened. All returns must have a RMA # and invoice #. 15% restocking fee on any complete engine. If parts arrive damaged in shipment, it is the customers responsibility to notify the carrier immediately and reject the damaged package. Contact Michigan Motorz of the potential damage. A claim will be filed and we will send out the identical part. If parts are damaged in shipment and the customer does not notice damage, please call Michigan Motorz LLC.
