New 2008 GM base marine engine (standard rotation) made specifically for 1987-1995 marine engine applications. (The 1987-95 5.7L marine engine can easily be identified by 4 bolts that go in the center of the valve covers. 8 of the 12 intake manifold bolts are installed at a 90 degree angle on the cylinder heads; the remaining 4 center intake manifold bolts are installed at a 72 degree angle).
Engine includes engine block, cylinder heads, center-bolt valve covers, timing cover, 5 quart marine oil pan, circulation pump, harmonic balancer, roller cam & roller lifters, spark plugs, corrosion resistant black urethane paint, 14" i/o flywheel and all internal parts.
Direct replacement for 1987 thru 1995 305 ci (5.0L), 350 ci (5.7L) Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, OMC, Indmar, etc...
1 piece rear main seal (also known as full rear main seal), 4 bolt mains, mechanical fuel pump pad.
Rated at 270 hp @ 4800 RPM / 340 LB FT @ 3200 RPM with 4 barrel carb/intake. (actual power levels may vary depending on OEM calibration and application)

Opposite rotation available additional $750 (Roller cam and roller lifters) or $319 for flat tappet cam.
